great shop. worst shop manger or any manager I have ever met. he was actively mad that I brought my truck back because it was shaking while driving. (the shaking turned out to be bent wheels) I wanted them to look at it again since they did break work the week prior. I will never be back after being chewed out by the manager for questioning their work. I was taken aback by how rude and unprofessional he was. he wanted an apology from a paying customer. I'm pretty sure mechanics are where you take cars that are not running right? Especially if they were the last ones to work on it. he kept going on about "how they have a reputation" the only reputation I saw was an unhinged management system. the worst part is the owner just sat there after asking me to apologize (and after paying 1700 for work). I even had to say "if you don't want me to come back then just say it" worst I have been treated by an employee in any industry. He just wanted to sit there and berade me for slander (I didn't try To paint hem in a bad light at all. I was respectful and kind, and I told no one about This) I was treated like I was trash talking their name all over Town. Again my issue was with the way I was treated by the shop manager. not with the quality of work.
You called our shop and told us you had a vibration after taking it to a different shop and having wheels and tires installed. NOT our shop. I explained that brakes don't cause a vibration on acceleration yet you were adamant that there was a warped rotor or issue with a wheel seal that was repacked. We said we would be more than happy to look at the car for any issues you might have and you insisted on taking the car back to Discount Tire, where you had wheels and tires installed… something that would cause vibration on acceleration. After you took it there you called again and insisted that the car was unsafe over about 55mph (per the voice recording we have). Again we said we would be more than happy to take a look at the car but that it is highly unlikely that what we did caused any issues to the car. The larger reason this would be true is the car left here and didn't have any issues… It was only after the car was brought to a different shop that there was an issue yet you were so SO sure it was something we did. Our shop takes pride in the work we do and we don't take someone saying we made a mistake lightly. No one was “berated”. No one yelled at you, no one was rude. I said clearly, we take these issues seriously but we don't appreciate when someone accuses us of making their car unsafe. No one was worried that you were going around town telling anyone anything, it was the fact that you as the customer thought we would release your car when it was unsafe. We would never release a car if it was unsafe without explicit knowledge of any issues. The Owner who witnessed this conversation completely understood what I was saying to you and understood that we were simply telling you we would never release a car if it were dangerous and we didn't appreciate you blaming us for issues a different shop caused. Lastly, you didn't have to say, “if you don't want me to come back then just say it”. You brought that up on your own accord and I told you it was ok to bring it back, I just wanted to make myself clear. We looked at your car for free, confirmed it was nothing we did, and simply explained ourselves and wanted to set the record straight.
