I have been taking my 2009 Mercedes Benz ML320 Bluetec to Cutting Edge Automotive for several years now. In the past, the service provided was always very poor - the woman working in the office was predatory and the lead mechanic was a crook. Recently, those two individuals were fired and replaced. The new service manager, Dawud Lutz, has transformed Cutting Edge into an efficient and highly ethical source for my auto repair needs. I was experiencing several problems with my vehicle last Thursday morning, and I was forced to have it towed in to Cutting Edge. Dawud mentioned that they were "slammed", but he would do his best to get a mechanic on it and to provide me with some feedback before the end of the day, Thursday. Sure enough, he phoned me early afternoon that day to explain the extensive work to be done. Given my past experience at this shop, I guesstimated that my repairs would be in the $3,500 range and they would have the vehicle - which needed parts from California - for a minimum of a week, but mostly likely longer. Early Friday morning, Dawud called me to say that they had determined the exact repairs needed, had ordered the parts, and that they would most likely receive the parts the following Monday, at which time they would begin the repairs. Dawud called me that Monday, mid afternoon, saying that they had experienced an onslaught of vehicles earlier that day, but PROMISED to have my car ready "no later than end-of-day Tuesday. I'm thinking, "yeah, sure". Dawud phoned me the next day, early afternoon, to tell me that my car was ready to go. The bill was $1,499. - less than half of what I anticipated. I could not be more pleased and impressed with my recent experience at Cutting Edge Automotive, and particularly with Dawud Lutz!!
